Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences (SHUATS) is a private university located in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Founded originally as the Allahabad Agricultural Institute by Dr. Sam Higginbottom in 1910, the institution was declared a Deemed University in 2000 and later established under U.P. Act No. 35 of 2016.

The university is administered by the Ecumenical Minority Christian Society and operates with a distinctive mission. Its core objectives include promoting rural life and development, responsible environmental stewardship, sustainable development, and providing education that links learning and research to community needs.
