Monad University is a private educational institution located in Pilkhuwa, Hapur District, Uttar Pradesh. Established under the UP State Government Act 23 of 2010, the university is recognized under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956 and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

The university prides itself on being a multi-disciplinary campus in the National Capital Region (NCR), offering a diverse range of academic programs. Its academic infrastructure includes spacious academic blocks with fully furnished classrooms equipped with state-of-the-art multimedia and electronic teaching aids. The campus features a central library housing over 80,000 books and four specialized departmental libraries covering law, pharmacy, education, and architecture.

However, the university has been involved in a significant legal controversy. In May 2025, the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) uncovered a massive fake degree racket operating within the institution. The STF arrested 10 individuals, including the university's Chairman Chaudhary Vijendra Singh Hooda and Pro-Chancellor Nitin Kumar Singh. During the operation, authorities seized over 1,372 fake degrees and 262 counterfeit provisional and migration certificates across various courses including LLB, B Pharma, D Pharma, and B Tech.

The university claims to focus on multi-disciplinary research and aims to provide high-class education with a semester-based program structure that integrates traditional syllabus with current industry requirements. Its Training and Placement Cell seeks to maximize student placements and facilitate industry connections.
