MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU) is a private university located in Kothrud, Pune, Maharashtra. Officially named Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, the institution originated from the Maharashtra Institute of Technology, which was first established in 1983 as one of the first private engineering colleges in Maharashtra.
