Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth is a government agricultural university located in Dapoli, Maharashtra. Originally established on 18 May 1972 as Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, the institution was renamed on 12 February 2001 in memory of Shri. P. K. Sawant, the third Chief Minister of Maharashtra.

The university comprises multiple specialized colleges offering diverse agricultural and related programs. The College of Agriculture, established in 1965, provides undergraduate and postgraduate degrees including B.Sc. in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Agricultural Marketing & Business Management, and Food Science. Postgraduate offerings include M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs in Agriculture. The College of Forestry, established on 1 August 2005, offers a four-year B.Sc. Forestry degree and is one of only two forestry colleges in Maharashtra.

The College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, started on 3 July 1999, offers a B. Tech in Agricultural Engineering. It features six major departments focusing on areas like Renewable Energy Sources, Farm Machinery and Power, Irrigation and Drainage, Soil and Water Conservation Engineering, Agriculture Process Engineering, and Farm Structures. In 1997, the university received the Best Institute Award from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. Its research centre at Karjat has developed patented rice varieties, with major research focus areas including rice, horticulture, and fisheries. As of June 2023, Dr. Sanjay G. Bhave serves as the 16th Vice Chancellor of the university.
