Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) is a government technical university located in Daruhi, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh. Established in 2010 through a state government act, the university spans a compact 2-acre campus and is recognized by key national educational bodies including the University Grants Commission (UGC) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

HPTU offers a comprehensive range of academic programs across multiple disciplines. The university provides 20 full-time degree courses, including 11 undergraduate programs in fields such as Engineering, Information Technology, Science, Business & Management Studies, and Hospitality.
