Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (DBATU) is a government technological university located in Lonere, Maharashtra, India. Named after the prominent Indian social reformer Babasaheb Ambedkar, the university was established in 1989 under the Government of Maharashtra Act 1983 and serves as a statutory State Technical University.

The university spans an impressive 525-acre campus situated near an important industrial belt that includes regions like Thane, Belapur, Nagothane, Patalganga, Roha, and Mahad. DBATU offers comprehensive engineering education with undergraduate and postgraduate programs across multiple disciplines. Students can pursue four-year Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) degrees in fields such as civil, mechanical, electrical, electronics and telecommunication, chemical, petrochemical, computer science, and information technology. The university also provides two-year Master of Technology (M. Tech.) programs in specialized areas including Power Systems, chemical engineering, computer science, electronics, environmental engineering, manufacturing, and thermal and fluids engineering.

Beyond academics, DBATU actively promotes student engagement through various activities and events. The university hosts CynoSure, an annual technical festival featuring technical events, presentations, workshops, and lectures. The Chemical Engineering department organizes ChemFraternity, a national-level technical festival, while the annual gathering provides platforms for cultural performances including dance, singing, and poetry competitions. The university has also hosted notable events like TEDxDBATU, which has featured distinguished speakers and innovative programming. Additionally, DBATU has demonstrated its commitment to international collaboration, recently establishing a partnership with Grand Valley State University that facilitates student exchanges and research opportunities in computing and technology.
