Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology (ANDUaT) is a private university located in Kumarganj, within the Ayodhya district of Uttar Pradesh. The university was established in 1975 and is named after the notable politician and educator Narendra Deva, who previously served as vice chancellor of the University of Lucknow and Banaras Hindu University.

The university's foundation stone was laid on 15 January 1974 by Prime Minister Indira Gandhi at Masodha near Faizabad. Initially functioning in a borrowed building of Gram Swalabi Vidyalaya Acharya Nagar, the main campus was later established in Kumarganj, Ayodhya. The university's first leadership included Laxmi Narain Rai as the first officer on special duty, followed by A.S. Srivastava and the first vice-chancellor, A.D. Pandey.

ANDUaT comprises several constituent colleges across different districts, including the College of Agriculture in Kumarganj and Azamgarh, College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, College of Horticulture and Forestry, College of Community Science, College of Fisheries, and the Mahamaya College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology in Ambedkar Nagar. The university has expanded its academic offerings over the years, with the Mahamaya College of Agriculture Engineering and Technology being established in 2002 by upgrading the existing Agriculture Engineering department.
