Madras Engineering College, Kancheepuram (TNEA Code: 1203)

Madras Engineering College is a self-financing, co-educational institution located in Sriperumbudur Taluk within the Chennai Metropolitan Area. Affiliated with Anna University, the college commenced operations during the 2024–25 period and admitted its first student cohort via TNEA 2025. Admission is via TNEA code 1203, with a seat distribution of 65% for the Government quota and 35% for the Management quota. The campus provides separate air-conditioned hostel facilities for boys and girls, supported by a bus service covering all parts of Chennai. Academically, the institution maintains a specialized focus on computing disciplines, including Computer Science and Business Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Cyber Security, to the exclusion of traditional engineering branches. The institution is managed by the Galaxy Educational Health and Charitable Trust under the leadership of Principal Dr. K Srinivasan.
