Xavier Institute of Engineering (XIE) is a private engineering college located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Established in 2005, the institute is managed by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) and is affiliated with Mumbai University. XIE is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra.

The college offers undergraduate engineering degree programs in multiple disciplines, including Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering (with a focus on Cyber Security, IoT, and Blockchain Technology), and Information Technology. Each program has 60 seats, and the institute also provides an Honours Degree Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Additionally, XIE offers a one-year diploma course in Sound Engineering with 20 seats.

XIE has notable academic partnerships and facilities, including a collaboration with Marquette University that established the unique 'Gait Lab' - the only facility in Mumbai City that captures a person's walk using 3-D imaging. The college has been recognized for its academic excellence, being placed among the top 10 most prominent institutes in Maharashtra by The Knowledge Review in 2019. The institute is led by Fr. Dr. John Rose, S.J. as director, and Dr. Y.D. Venkatesh as principal, with a team of 45 faculty members and 51 non-teaching staff.

Beyond academics, XIE hosts several annual events that enrich student life, including 'Spandan', a two-day inter-collegiate cultural fest, 'Transmission', an annual tech festival featuring robotics and tech challenges, and 'SPARX', an inter-college sports festival designed to nurture athletic potential.
