Vishweshwarayya Institute of Engineering and Technology (VIET) is located in Almala, Tq. Ausa, Dist. Latur, Maharashtra. Established in 2008, the institute has quickly built a strong reputation in the Marathwada region and across Maharashtra. The campus spans 27 acres and features comprehensive educational infrastructure designed to support technical education and student development.

The institute offers 6 different courses across various disciplines, with a total student intake of 390 students since its inception. Currently, 1,232 students are pursuing technical education at VIET. The campus is well-equipped with modern facilities including smart classrooms, well-developed laboratories, workshops, a drawing hall, seminar hall, and a library. A notable technological feature is the Computer Lab with a 300 MBPS Leased Line Virtual Private Network, supporting advanced learning environments.

Beyond academic infrastructure, VIET is committed to holistic student development. The institute provides platforms for students to participate in various state and national-level competitions, including paper presentations, quiz competitions, and robotics events. The campus also supports extracurricular activities with facilities for outdoor and indoor games, as well as cultural activities.
