Vel Tech High Tech Dr.Rangarajan Dr.Sakunthala Engineering College is a private engineering college located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Established in 2002, the college is affiliated with Anna University Chennai and offers 11 branches of study with 9 undergraduate and 2 postgraduate programs.

The college is spread across a 30-acre campus and is governed by the AICTE and Anna University. It was founded by the philanthropic couple Col. Prof. Vel. Dr. R. Rangarajan and Dr. Sagunthala Rangarajan. The college has been accredited by NAAC with an 'A' grade and a CGPA of 3.27. Several of its programs, including B.Tech (Biotech), B.Tech (Chemical), B.E. (ECE), and B.Tech (IT), have also received NBA accreditation.

The college has established several centers of excellence, including in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Salesforce Technologies, and Red Hat Linux, with funding from AICTE and ICT Academy. It has also been recognized by the UGC with 2(f) and 12(B) status and has been ranked among the top 200 engineering institutions in India by NIRF in 2017.
