THDC Institute of Hydropower Engineering and Technology (THDC-IHET) is a government technical institute located in Tehri, Uttarakhand. Established in 2011, the institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated with Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun.

The institute offers undergraduate engineering programs across six key disciplines: Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering, and Applied Science & Humanities. With a specialized focus on hydropower engineering and technology, THDC-IHET provides students a unique educational experience that emphasizes practical learning and industry collaboration.

The campus offers comprehensive student support, including a dedicated Training & Placement Cell that assists students in securing internships and job opportunities. The institute has established multiple Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with industries and engineering colleges, providing students with valuable exposure to real-world engineering challenges.
