The Technological Institute of Textile and Sciences (TITS) is a distinguished private technical college located in Bhiwani, Haryana, India. Founded in 1943 by Padma Vibhushan Dr. Ghanshyam Das Birla and Pushkar D Makharia under the Birla Education Trust, the institute has a rich history in technical education, particularly in textile technology.

TITS offers unique engineering and postgraduate programs with a specialized focus on textile technology. The institute stands out as one of the few institutions in India providing degrees in technology (BTech with Honours) at the undergraduate level. Its distinctive approach includes extensive practical training, with students learning directly in an attached textile factory, experiencing real-world working environments and industrial conditions.

The college provides comprehensive educational experiences through lectures by in-house and visiting faculty, seminars, project assignments, and industrial site visits. Students are trained to handle both mechanical and administrative challenges independently, which makes TITS graduates highly sought after in the textile industry. The institute is NAAC accredited with a B++ Grade and is approved under Sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act 1956, further validating its academic credentials.

Initially affiliated with the Department of Industrial Training in Punjab for a 3-year diploma course in spinning and weaving technology, TITS separated from the Birla Education Trust in 1985 and was registered as an independent society. Its evolution reflects a commitment to expanding instructional facilities and introducing new courses in textile and scientific education.
