St. Mary's Engineering College is a private educational institution located in Deshmukhi, Telangana, situated near Ramoji Film City in the Pochampally region of Yadadri Bhongir district. The college is sponsored by the Joseph Sriharsha Mary Indraja Educational Society, which was established in 1996 by Rev. Dr. K V K Rao with a mission of educating and developing youth.

The institution is guided by the core principles of Knowledge, Wisdom, and Truth, as envisioned by its founders Rev. K.V.K. Rao, Smt. K.V.N.V. Bharathi Devi, and Joseph Sriharsha. Their vision emphasizes holistic student development, aiming to create educated, employable, and enlightened citizens who are ready for industry challenges.

The college boasts impressive academic infrastructure, including a comprehensive campus library with a 200-user seating capacity. The library houses an extensive collection of 69,000 volumes, including reference books, back volumes, DVDs, CDs, and both Indian and international journals covering engineering, science, pharmacy, and management disciplines. In 2010, the college gained notable recognition when the All India Council for Technical Education approved a collaboration with Marist College, enabling students to pursue a US-recognized MS degree program.
