Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology (SCET) is a private engineering institution located in Surat, Gujarat. Founded in 1995, the college is part of the Sarvajanik Education Society and has established itself as a significant technical education center in the region.

The college began with departments in Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Architecture, and Textile Technology. By 1997, SCET expanded its academic offerings to include Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control, and Information Technology. Today, SCET offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate programs including Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degrees in Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Instrumentation and Control, and Mechanical Engineering.

SCET provides postgraduate programs such as Master of Engineering in various specializations including Civil Engineering (Town & Country Planning and Structures), Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and a Master of Computer Application (M.C.A.). The college is affiliated with Gujarat Technological University and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Several of its engineering departments, including Electrical, Electronics and Communication, and Instrumentation and Control, have been NBA accredited since 2017.

Located on RK Desai Marg in the Athwalines area of Surat, SCET is strategically positioned near other educational institutions like P.T. Science College, M.T.B. Arts College, and K.P. Commerce College. The institution has been recognized for its innovative approach, including being selected by the Department of Science and Technology for a specialized environmental project under the TIFAC-CORE initiative.
