Ramappa Engineering College is a private engineering institution located in Hanamkonda, Telangana, situated in the historical district of Warangal. Established in 1999, the college is named after the famous Ramappa temple in the Warangal district and is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.

The college initially started with three major programs: Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT), Computer Science Engineering (CSE), and Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), each offering 60 seats. Over time, the college has expanded its academic offerings to include Electronics and Electrical Engineering (EEE), Mechanical Engineering (MECH), and Civil Engineering (CIV). Originally located in Mahabubabad, the college has since shifted to Hunter Road in Hanamkonda, Warangal.

Ramappa Engineering College holds NBA accreditation and is positioned as a premier engineering institution in the Telangana region. Its campus is strategically located, being 4 km from Warangal railway station and 5 km from Kazipet railway station, making it easily accessible for students.
