Purushottam Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET) is a private educational institution located in Rourkela, Odisha. Established in 1999, the institute initially operated from the Biju Patnaik Hockey Stadium in Rourkela's Sector 06, with a small number of students and faculty. In 2001, PIET moved to its new campus in Mandiakudar, situated approximately 30 km from Rourkela.

The institute offers a diverse range of academic programs, including undergraduate B.Tech degrees in multiple engineering streams such as Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Telecommunication (ETC), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Information Technology (IT), Automation and Instrumentation Engineering (AEI), and Mechanical Engineering (ME). In 2007, PIET expanded its academic offerings to include Master of Computer Applications (MCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs.

PIET's campus is located near the town of Kansbahal and features several facilities including a residential hostel complex, a Hanuman temple, and a small canteen. The institute is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated with Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT). Currently, the institute offers 6 diverse courses across multiple disciplines, with a focus on providing industry-aligned, specialized programs in Polytechnic and other engineering fields.
