Purnea College of Engineering (PCE) is a government-owned engineering institution located in Purnia district, Bihar. Established in 2017, the college is managed by the Department of Science and Technology, Bihar, and is affiliated with Bihar Engineering University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The college offers a four-year B.Tech program with six engineering branches. Students can gain admission through the UGEAC (Undergraduate Engineering Admission Counseling) conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board, which requires appearing in the JEE Main examination. The current academic offerings include Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Mechatronics Engineering.

Spread across a 10-acre campus located on the western side of NH-31 road, PCE provides comprehensive facilities for academic and student life. The campus includes department offices, lecture halls, seminar rooms, laboratories, a central library, gymnasium, student cafeteria, and separate residential hostels for boys (A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and C.V. Raman Hostels) and girls (Mother Teresa Hostel). The campus also features recreational areas including volleyball grounds and badminton courts, ensuring a holistic educational environment for its students.

As a new government engineering college, PCE aims to contribute to India's technological development by providing quality technical education and preparing students for emerging technological challenges. The institution focuses on innovative teaching methodologies and has been recognized as an Institute of Excellence by AICTE.
