Podhigai College of Engineering and Technology (PCET) is a private engineering college located in Vellore, Tamil Nadu. Established in 2009, the college is affiliated with Anna University Chennai and is spread across an 11-acre campus.

PCET offers a range of undergraduate engineering programs, including Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Information Technology. The college is known for its commitment to providing value-based education, strong industry connections, and modern facilities to shape students into skilled engineers.

The college has made significant strides in enhancing its infrastructure over the years. By 2015, PCET had introduced state-of-the-art laboratories, a computerized library with reprographic facilities, and a high-speed 1 GB intranet connecting 300 nodes with a 10 Mbps internet speed. In 2020, the college further strengthened its ties with leading industries to provide students with hands-on training and real-world project experiences. Additionally, the college has established a language laboratory and implemented soft skill development programs to enhance the employability of its graduates.

The library is open to students and staff members from 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on all working days. It has a collection of reference section, magazine section, and stack area. Presently there are more than 12,000 books and reference volumes stacked for the benefit of staff and students. The Library subscripted more than 100 national and international periodicals like (1200 e-journals) DELNET, IAEME. It also having education audio cassettes, project thesis report. PCET IS  also a member of Delnet and IAEME. A number of Textbooks are available in the library for competitive exam like GATE, Civil service exam, TOFEL, GRE, GMAT, Defence service exam. The books and periodicals related to communication skills and aptitude Skills development with multimedia facilities, education audio cassettes are also available in the library.
