NIE Institute of Technology (NIEIT) is a private educational institution located in Mysuru, Karnataka. Established in 2008 by NIE Foundation, the college is situated in the heritage city of Mysore, approximately 12 kilometers from the city's railway station.

The institute offers a comprehensive range of engineering programs, including Bachelor of Engineering degrees in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering (added in 2013). NIEIT is strategically positioned in a 25-acre campus surrounded by prominent industries like BEML and Infosys, providing students with an advantageous learning environment.

The campus boasts impressive infrastructure, with 15,282 square meters of built-up area dedicated to instructional and administrative purposes, and an additional 26,600 square meters of carpet area for amenities and utilities. Students benefit from extensive facilities, including a large playground for sports such as cricket, football, basketball, and an athletic track. The institute also provides two well-equipped hostels capable of accommodating around 300 students.

NIEIT prides itself on its faculty, which includes 10 Ph.D. holders, 26 faculty members currently pursuing doctoral degrees, and 32 faculty members with master's degrees. The institution currently enrolls approximately 1,300 students and is located at No. 50 (Part), Hootagalli Industrial Area, Koorgalli, Mysuru - 570018.

NIE Institute of Technology's hostel is well equipped with solar water heaters for round the clock hot water supply. The college hostel also provides the facilities of Television set and  indoor games.

NIE Institute of Technology's library has a Wi-Fi connection with 10 systems. The digital library is exclusively used for the online access of e-journals and other e-resources provided by the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Consortium, Belagavi. The college library gives online access to the e-resource portals of IEEE-IEL online, Springer, Taylor and Francis, Knimbus, etc. These services are IP enabled and can be accessed from anywhere in the campus.
