NETES Institute of Technology and Science Mirza (NITS Mirza) is a private engineering college located in Mirza, Assam, situated approximately 28 km from Guwahati city and 6 km from Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport. Established in 2009, the institute is spread across a 20-acre campus and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The college offers Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programs in multiple engineering disciplines, including computer science and engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, electronics and communication engineering, mechanical engineering, and civil engineering. It is affiliated with Gauhati University and Assam Science and Technology University. In its initial phase, NITS Mirza started with an intake of 200 students and features comprehensive infrastructure including a 6,000 sq ft library, a 3,000 sq ft computer centre, a 9,000 sq ft workshop, laboratories, classrooms, and a 100,000 sq ft playground.

NETS Mirza has notable collaborations in the technical education space, including a partnership with Synopsys, Inc. to establish a Regional Centre of Excellence for VLSI design curriculum. The institute is governed by a body composed of academic leaders, NETES members, and nominees from AICTE, Assam Government, Gauhati University, and industry representatives. The North East Technical Education Society (NETES), formed in 2005, provides the foundational support for the institute, with many of its members being post-graduates and Ph.Ds from prestigious institutions like IITs and Assam Engineering College.

NITS Mirza has 3 hostels, 2 for boys and 1 for girls. All hostels has follwoign facilities

In-Campus Hostel

Central library has 9000 volumes, which includes textbooks, reference books, standards, and non-book material such as CD-ROMs, audio tapes, video tapes, slides. More than 700 international and national journals ( all IEEE, ASTM, JQATE journals including 250 open acess journals), magazines, back volumes of periodicals and national dailies are available in the Central Library. Library is open from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm
