Maharana Pratap Group of Institutions (MPGI) is a private educational institution located in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Founded in 1996 by Shailendra Bhadauria, the institution has grown significantly since its inaugural school was inaugurated by Late Shri. Atal Bihari Vajpayee in 1997.

The institution's Engineering Wing offers specialized programs across multiple disciplines, including Mechanical, Electronics and Communication (EnC), Civil, Electrical, and Computer Science engineering. Additionally, MPGI provides future-focused specializations in emerging fields such as Artificial Intelligence, AI & Machine Learning, Internet of Things (IoT), and Data Science. The college prides itself on having a balanced faculty that combines experienced educators with new talent.

MPGI has a robust Training and Placement Department that focuses on preparing students for corporate careers. The department runs a customized program called P.A.C.E. (Program for Advancement of Corporate), which aims to align student skills with industry requirements. The institution has demonstrated success in placements, with recent examples including 16 students from the 2026 batch securing positions as Customer Success Executives with a 4 LPA package at Ocube. The college also actively engages students in professional development, hosting industry expert talks and participating in national events like the Smart India Hackathon.
