MLR Institute of Technology (MLRIT) is a private educational institution located in Dundigal, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Established in 2005 by the KMR Education Trust under the leadership of Mr. Marri Laxman Reddy, the institute has rapidly developed into a comprehensive technological education center.

The institute offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across nine key disciplines, including Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering (with specialized tracks in AI & ML, Data Science, and Cyber Security), Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. MLRIT is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH) and was granted autonomous status by the University Grants Commission in 2015.

MLR Institute of Technology follows a rigorous academic approach, requiring students to complete a minimum of eight courses per semester, including at least two laboratory courses. Admission is primarily based on students' performance in the Common Entrance Test EAMCET, with a minimum requirement of 50% marks in the Intermediate/10+2 Examination. The college has comprehensive hostel facilities for the students. Exclusively, two blocks are provided for boys with 1000 capacity and two blocks for girls with 1000 capacity. A Total of 2000 students can avail hostel facility with in campus FREE medical support and WIFI. The study hours in the hostel are from 6 p.m to 7.30 p.m for girls and 6.30pm to 8.00pm for boys daily.

The Central Library has an area of 1275 Sq.Mt. The reading space is 400 Sq.Mt which can seat over 500 students. The institute has a duplex library which is spacious and voluminous enough to accommodate more than 4700 titles, 34271 volumes. More than 114 National and 72 International Journals.

Digital library is equipped with 30 Systems connected to dedicate Internet Server. Digital Library is well stocked with NPTEL material covering most of the important subjects and to access E-journals, E-books, and E-learning. The library has DELNET (Inter library loan) for resource sharing and it is fully computerized with the bar-code system.
