Malout Institute of Management and Information Technology (MIMIT) is a government college located in Malout, Punjab, India. Situated in the Green Field Enclave, the campus spans 25 acres and features a three-storied building designed by the Chief Architecture of Punjab. The institute operates under the guidance of a Board of Governors, which is headed by the Technical Education Minister of Punjab.

MIMIT offers a diverse range of academic programs across undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Its undergraduate courses include B.Tech. programs in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, the college provides Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degrees. At the postgraduate level, MIMIT offers a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with specializations in Marketing, Finance, and Human Resource Management.

The institute boasts impressive academic facilities, including a 10,500 sq ft central library with digital resources and e-journals. Its central computer center features four air-conditioned computer labs, each capable of housing up to 400 computer nodes with internet connectivity. MIMIT provides comprehensive laboratory facilities across various disciplines, including specialized labs for mechanical engineering, electronics, data communication, and research. The campus also includes extensive residential facilities, with hostels accommodating 350 male and 150 female students. Notably, MIMIT is ranked first among PTU (Punjab Technical University) affiliated colleges, highlighting its academic reputation in the region.

Institute has in-house campus café and a number of other eating joints which offers delicious food, superior services with innovative practices. The campus café offers excellent multi-cuisine menus providing a comfortable and vibrant ambience for all.

Both hostels have common rooms, gyms, badminton courts, volleyball ground and facilities for other indoor games. Indoor games like carom board, chess, table tennis are provided within the hostels. Each room is equipped with a bed, a study table, study chair, almirah and an easy chair.

MIMIT has 10500 sq.ft. double storied well stocked fully automated library. This library is interlinked with DELNET (Developing Library Network). It has established a digital library which includes e-journals, e-books, e-reference sources, databases of theses and dissertations, subject gateway and MIMIT digital resources etc.

The institute has one 52 seater bus, two jeeps and an ambulance for the convenience of the staff and students. Also provides bus facility to the students for the placement, industrial and sports visits.
