Mahendra Engineering College for Women is a private institution located in Namakkal, Tamil Nadu. It was established in 2008 and is affiliated with Anna University Chennai.

The college was founded by the Mahendra Educational Trust, which was established in 1978 by renowned educationist Shri. M.G. Bharath Kumar. The trust operates several other educational institutions in the region, including schools, polytechnics, and colleges. Thiru. M.G. Bharath Kumar serves as the Chairman of the Trust, assisted by the Governing and Advisory Council.

Mahendra Engineering College for Women was established with the aim of providing high-quality technical education to women. The college's vision is to become a center of excellence in technical education, research, and extension activities, in order to create engineers and technologists to cater to societal needs. Its mission is to be a student-centric institute that imbibes experiential, innovative, and lifelong learning skills, while also addressing societal problems and inculcating entrepreneurial attitudes and values among the learners.
