Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering and Technology (MBSCET) is a private institution located in Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir. The college features a spacious campus spanning approximately 28 acres and is recognized as a Sikh Minority College under the Sant Manjit Singh Trust.

The college's Electrical Engineering Department, established in 1999, is a prominent academic unit approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The department has a sanctioned intake of 60 students, with 50% seats reserved for the Sikh Minority Community and the remaining 50% admitted through the Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE). To date, 21 batches of Electrical Engineering graduates have been awarded degrees, with students serving in government sectors, multi-national companies, and national organizations.

The Electrical Engineering Department is NBA accredited and focuses on providing quality education with an emphasis on green energy technology and efficient energy management systems.
