LBS College of Engineering is a government engineering institution located in Bovikanam, Kerala, specifically situated in Muliyar Panchayath of Kasaragod district. Established in 1993 under the auspices of L B S Centre for Science and Technology, the college has grown significantly over the past decades, expanding from an initial infrastructure of 20,000 square feet to 2.5 lakh square feet across a 52-acre campus.

The college offers undergraduate B. Tech programs in six branches: Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Information Technology (IT), and Civil Engineering (CE). Additionally, it provides a postgraduate program in Computer Science and Engineering. The annual intake is 480 students for undergraduate programs and 18 for postgraduate programs.

Currently affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, the institution has developed comprehensive infrastructure including two academic blocks with 50 classrooms, seminar halls, staff rooms, and laboratories. The campus also features its own hostels, an administrative block, a main stadium, multi-sports play spaces, an open-air auditorium, and a main auditorium with a seating capacity of 1,500. Located 12 kilometers from Kasaragod town, the college is near Mangaluru Airport and Kasaragod railway station, offering convenient accessibility for students and visitors.

Three in campus and three out campus separate hostels for boys and girls. All the hostels are provided with facilities of Mess, a WI-FI connection, Indoor games and Multi-gym facility at men's hostel.

Central library fully automated through OPAC and well stocked with textbooks, references, titles, online journals from ASME, IEEE, CD-Roms, e-books, journals, periodicals, seminar reports and project reports.
