K.S.R.M. College of Engineering, located in Chinthakommadinne, Andhra Pradesh, is a private engineering institute with a rich historical background. The college was established in 1980 by the Sri Kandula Obul Reddy charities, founded to honor the memory of Sri Srinivasa Reddy, a promising mechanical engineering student who tragically passed away in a scooter accident in 1979.

Formally inaugurated on 14 November 1980 by Sri T. Anjaiah, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, the college began functioning in the academic year 1980-81. It was created with the vision of developing technical education in the Rayalaseema region, driven by the keen interest of Late Kandula Obul Reddy in advancing educational opportunities.

The college offers a comprehensive range of engineering programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Its B.Tech programs include Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Computer Science Engineering. At the M.Tech level, students can pursue specialized tracks such as Geotechnical Engineering, Power Systems, Digital Communications, and CAD/CAM.
