KLS Gogte Institute of Technology (GIT) is a private engineering college located in Belagavi, Karnataka. Founded in 1979, the institute was established through a generous donation of ₹1 million by industrialist Balkrishna 'Raosaheb' Gogte to the Karnataka Law Society, and is now named in his honor.

Spread across a sprawling 20-acre campus, GIT offers a comprehensive range of academic programs, including 09 undergraduate and 06 postgraduate disciplines. The institute provides programs in various engineering streams such as Computer Science, Aeronautical, Civil, Electrical and Electronics, and Electronics and Communications Engineering, along with MBA and MCA programs. As a permanent affiliate and autonomous institution under Visvesvaraya Technological University, GIT has been recognized for its academic excellence, receiving the Excellent Technical Education Institute in Karnataka award in 2014.

The institute boys hostel can accommodate 345 students and girls hostel accommodate 210 students.Both the hostels are provided with amenities such as internet connectivity, CCTV cameras, mess facility, etc.Another exclusive Girls hostel is located in Bhagyanagar, Tilakwadi at a distance of 2 kms from the institute with capacity of 68 students in 34 rooms.
