The Institute of Engineering and Science, IPS Academy is a private engineering institution located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Established on 19 October 1999, the college secured approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Government of Madhya Pradesh to commence operations in the 1999-2000 academic year.

The institute offers a range of undergraduate engineering programs, including four-year B.E./B.Tech degrees in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Notably, it was the first institute in India to introduce an undergraduate degree in Fire Technology & Safety Engineering. The college is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) Bhopal and has received recognition from multiple educational bodies.

The Institute of Engineering and Science has achieved significant academic recognition. The Times Engineering magazine ranked it 38th among private institutions in its 2014 survey, while Careers360 awarded the college an AAA+ rating and ranked it 8th among engineering colleges in Madhya Pradesh in 2015. It is also the first private institute to be granted autonomous status by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The institute's undergraduate courses are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and have been approved by AICTE and the Directorate of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh.

Under the leadership of Dr. Archana Keerti Chowdhary, who has been with the institution since its founding in 1999, the college has grown to become one of the top 45 private engineering institutions in India, emphasizing practical learning and innovation in technical education.
