Hostel Room

Mess facilities and full-day cafes are available for students in the hostel. Indian vegetarian meals are served. Canteen facilities are also available for all staff and students in the university.

Hostel accommodation is available for students inside the campus. Separate hostels are available for male and female students. Hostel accommodation is provided on a shared basis. Furniture and other essential facilities are provided to hostel residents. The accommodation includes a single bed, mattress, pillow, side table and a cupboard. A hot water facility is available in the attached bathrooms. Wi-Fi facility is available at the hostel. GIFT City (the first smart city in India) is only about 5 minutes away from the campus. Students get an opportunity to enjoy the rapidly developing area.

The university has a dedicated computer center where students can access computing facilities for IT-intensive learning and for outside timetabled classes. The University also has a Super Computer facility, with a 40-core Param Shavak machine deployed by CDAC-Pune.

The University has expanded and renovated its library recently. The addition of new textbooks, reference books and journals from relevant and complementary areas of courses of study caters to the needs of students and scholars. Computer and internet facilities with online resources are also available in the library. Photocopying, Printing and Scanning facilities are available in the library.

Metro Rail, Bus Service, Taxi and Auto-Rickshaws are available for travel to Airport, Railway Stations, Bus Stands and all areas of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. The University provides transport facilities for students coming from Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar through an external contractor on payment basis.

Various indoor and outdoor sports facilities are available on the campus. Sports events are organized on a regular basis in the campus. Students participate in Volleyball, Athletics and other sports. Gymnasium with instructor is also available for students.
