The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Dharwad is an autonomous engineering and technology institute located in Chikka Malligwad, Karnataka. Established in 2016, the institute currently operates from a temporary campus previously occupied by the Water and Land Management Institute (WALMI) in Belur Industrial Area, with a main campus of 470 acres under construction at Chikkamaligawad village.
