Government Engineering College, Gandhinagar (GEC-Gn) is a government engineering institution located in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Established in 2004, the college is administered by the Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat State, and is affiliated with Gujarat Technological University.

The college offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate engineering programs. At the undergraduate level, students can choose from ten Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degrees, including Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Metallurgy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Robotics and Automation Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. Additionally, the college provides two Master of Engineering (M.E.) programs in Biomedical Engineering and Computer Engineering.

Spread across a 33-acre campus, Government Engineering College, Gandhinagar provides modern facilities to support student learning and development. The campus includes hostel accommodations for both male and female students, with 94 rooms for boys (capacity of 282 students) and 60 rooms for girls (capacity of 180 students). Students benefit from free Wi-Fi internet access and well-equipped laboratories, particularly in departments like Instrumentation and Control Engineering, which features specialized labs for Signal and System, Measurement, Instrumentation, Power Electronics, and PLCs.

Admission to the college is merit-based, with candidates eligible after passing the HSC examination in the Science Stream. The ACPC Centralized Admission Committee determines seat allocation using a normalized merit rank calculation that considers 60% of HSC examination results and 40% of GUJCET examination scores. The college also offers pathways for diploma engineering students to enter directly into the second year of BE through the DDCET Examination.
