Government Engineering College Bidar (GECB) is a recently established technical institution located in Bidar, Karnataka. Approved by the Government of Karnataka in 2022, the college is administered by the Director of Technical Education, Bangalore and situated on Mailoor Road in the heart of Bidar, a city known for its historical and cultural significance.

The college is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It has received 'A' accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). GECB currently offers two undergraduate engineering programs: Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering, and Bachelor of Engineering in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Each program has an intake of 60 students and admissions are conducted through the Common Entrance Test (CET) by the Karnataka Examination Authority.
