Government College of Engineering, Chandrapur (GCOEC) is a prominent government engineering institution located in Chandrapur, Maharashtra. Established in 1996, the college is fully funded by the Government of Maharashtra and is affiliated with Gondwana University. It stands as the only government institute under Gondwana University, Gadchiroli.

The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs across six engineering disciplines, including Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. In addition to core engineering departments, the college also maintains Applied Mechanics, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Humanities departments. Starting from the academic year 2020, GCOEC expanded its academic offerings to include Master's degree programs in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Power Systems.
