Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Management and Technology (GIMT-Tezpur) is a private educational institution located in Tezpur, Assam. Established in 2011, the college is a unique initiative under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode, founded by the Shrimanta Shankar Academy (SSA) Society in collaboration with the Government of Assam.

The institute offers a comprehensive undergraduate program in Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), with four primary engineering disciplines: Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. Each branch has a capacity of 60 seats, with 18% of seats reserved for the Government Quota. Students can gain admission through the Common Entrance Exam (CEE) and Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted by Dibrugarh University and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

GIMT-Tezpur is officially affiliated with Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) in Guwahati and has received recognition from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute is equipped with 23 departmental laboratories to support practical and laboratory components of its academic programs.
