Dr. T. Thimmaiah Institute of Technology (Dr.TTIT) is a private engineering college located in Kolar Gold Fields, Karnataka, India. The institution operates under the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and is recognized by the Government of Karnataka and approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

The college offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate engineering programs across six disciplines: Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Students are admitted based on merit through both Government and Management Quotas, with eligibility requirements including a pass in 10+2 with a minimum of 45% in the Science group, with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects.

Spread across a 25-acre campus, Dr. TTIT provides modern educational facilities to support student learning. The campus features essential infrastructure including a library, WiFi connectivity, and student amenities like 'The UFO' food outlet. Formerly known as Golden Valley Institute of Technology, the college is committed to delivering professional technical education and preparing students for careers in various engineering fields.

Separate hostels  for Junior Boys (1st Year), senior boys and girls. All these hostels have separate wardens.The hostels are located away from each other with separate mess facilities. The mess facilities cater to the need of all the students by providing both north and south Indian vegetarian food.

The library is equipped with over 34,000 volumes of books covering all branches of engineering and reference books like encyclopedia, hand book, Dictionaries and Data books. The library has subscribed to Knimbus e-journals and the students have access to papers of various journals.
