The College of Food Technology, located in Parbhani, Maharashtra, is a distinguished educational institution affiliated with Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth. Established in 1976, the college is one of the earliest food technology colleges established under the ICAR-SAU system in India.

The college has a robust academic program, offering undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in food technology. Initially starting with an intake capacity of 32 students for B.Tech (Food Technology), the college now annually admits 64 undergraduate students, 15 postgraduate students, and 5 doctoral students. Since its establishment, the college has produced more than 1,574 graduates who have made significant contributions across various sectors.

The alumni of the College of Food Technology have distinguished themselves in diverse fields, including food processing industry, food safety and quality assessment, entrepreneurship development, teaching, research, and civil services. Many graduates have secured leadership positions in corporate organizations and are actively shaping food processing policies in India.
