College of Engineering, Attingal (CEAL) is a government technical institution established in 2004 by the Institute of Human Resources Development (IHRD), an autonomous educational institution under the Government of Kerala. Located in Attingal, the college is strategically positioned approximately 28 kilometers from Trivandrum Central and 38 kilometers from Kollam, offering excellent connectivity through proximity to National Highway 66 and the KSRTC Bus Terminal.

The college offers four engineering departments with an annual intake of 300 students across specialized programs: Electronics and Communication Engineering (60 seats), Computer Science and Engineering (120 seats), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (60 seats), and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (60 seats). Admissions are conducted annually through the All Kerala Common Entrance Examination, with a seat distribution of 50% free/merit seats, 35% management seats, and 15% NRI quota, all processed through the Central Allotment Process by the Controller of Entrance Examinations.

CEAL is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Kerala Technological University (KTU) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. The institution has a strong placement record, with 90% of eligible students from CS, EC, and EEE departments in the 2022-23 batch securing positions in leading multinational companies. With 15 batches of alumni and a focus on state-of-the-art engineering education, CEAL continues to be a significant technical education hub in Kerala.
