Canara Engineering College (CEC) is a private engineering institution located in Karnataka, India, situated approximately 22 km from Mangaluru in the surroundings of Benjanapadavu. Established in 2001 as a Millennium project by the Canara High School Association, the college spreads over 26 acres and is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.

The college offers a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate engineering programs, including Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degrees in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, Information Science and Design, and Information Science and Business Systems. Additionally, the college provides a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) program in Computer Science and Engineering.

CEC boasts several professional society chapters, including ISTE, SAE, IEEE, and CSI Student Chapters, as well as a Renewable Energy Club. The college is known for its vibrant technical and cultural events, with 'Aakriti' being its flagship annual national-level technical and cultural event. Other notable events include INNOVATE, TECHNOPHILIA, TECHGURU, and EMERGIA. The campus is equipped with modern facilities such as Wi-Fi, a cafeteria, mess, hostel, and college bus services.

Run by the Canara High School Association, the college has deep roots in the educational legacy of Mangaluru. Founded on the principles of the late Sri. Ammembal Subba Rao Pai, a social reformer and philanthropist, the institution aims to provide modern education while preserving cultural values. Currently led by Dr. Nagesh H R as principal, the college graduates approximately 400 engineers annually and is recognized by the Government of Karnataka and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
