Arasu Engineering College is a private institution located in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. It was established in 2001 and is affiliated with Anna University Chennai. The college was founded by the Sri Thirunavukkarasu Dhanalakshmi Educational and Charitable Trust, which was registered as a public charitable trust in 2000 with the aim of serving the community through technical education and research.

Arasu Engineering College is the first engineering college established in Kumbakonam. It was started with the goal of accelerating academic, social, and economic development in the region. The college currently offers eight undergraduate and four postgraduate programs approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is considered one of the leading engineering colleges affiliated with Anna University, Chennai.

The college campus spans an expansive 50-acre area, providing a serene and pleasant atmosphere for students to focus on their studies. The campus is situated against the gorgeous backdrop of temples, with fresh air and sweet, medicated water from the nearby Cauvery River.
