Agnel Institute of Technology and Design (AITD) is a private engineering college located in the picturesque village of Assagao in Bardez, Goa. Established in 2012, the institute is affiliated with Goa University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Named after Fr. Agnelo, the college was designed by civil engineer Olavo Carvalho, reflecting a thoughtful approach to its campus infrastructure.

The institute offers a diverse range of academic programs, including Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degrees in Mechanical and Automation Engineering, Electronics and Computer Engineering, and Computer Engineering. Each program has 60 seats with an additional 12 seats for lateral entry. In 2023, AITD expanded its academic offerings by introducing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program with 60 seats.

Beyond academics, AITD is known for its vibrant campus life and industry connections. The college hosts an annual cultural event called Fusion of Art, Culture and Talent (FACT) and conducts an industry-academia meet known as 'Colloquium'. Students benefit from active professional forums like the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) students' forum and the Goa Technology Association (GTA) students' chapter. The institute also supports student professional development through its Corporate Institute Relationship Cell (CIRC), which aids in campus placements. Since 2016, the college has been publishing its own magazine, Renaissance, providing a platform for student expression and creativity.

AITD is part of a larger educational network, with sister institutes including Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering in Mumbai, Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues Institute of Technology in Vashi, Padre Conceicao College of Engineering in Verna, and Father Agnel Polytechnic in New Delhi.
